Gents

I am in dire need of a right rear halfshaft for my DeDion S3 Superlight (2006), and rear brake disc.
Caterham UK does not have any Halfshafts, so I am looking at used or parts.

Can anybody advise if the CV joints are Sierra?
Which particularly?

I broke the outer CV joint, if I can identify it I could replace it and be repaired.

Also looking for rear brake disc (rotor): being in California, I cannot just walk to nearest Caterham supplier.
Is it common with any other car, like Sierra or Triumph?

Thanks for any and all assistance, direction, and help.
Cheers

Thanks for conforming!

Which specific Sierra CV joint is used on Caterham as outer CV?
Is it one off 4x4, maybe off one of the front wheel half shafts?
Which - inner or outer or is it off some other Sierra shaft, which?

Maybe a link to a part for sale on line with part number and/or application would be easiest and best clarification?

Thanks
Cheers

OK,

I have Tripod CV joints,

need outer TriPod CV Joint.

Which Ford Sierra application are they used in?
Which shaft, which side? For example, 4x4 front right driveshaft outer or some such lead.

Thank you

The driveshafts are shortened sierra items from the normal rwd model. If it's the outer one you need it's the rear outer sierra one.

Thank you

I just verified with another Caterham racer that I have later style, after 2003/04 Tripod CV joint

I visited my local Ford dealer and a) they don't carry parts for them in USA b) they showed me a microfiche photo/diagram and Mercury Merkur/Ford Sierra outer seems not to Match mine.
Does not Look Like mine

You should be able to identify the joint for certain by looking here: http://www.rowland2.com/pdfs/cvdisc.pdf

If Caterham do not have stock have you tried going direct to GKN who make them for Caterham? Also try Redline Components in Caterham.
