So the car was about 11 years old when you got it? Always thought they had really good lines. Beats my old Herald.

I paid £35 with a years MOT which was about the right price then .I think it was around two weeks wages. Sold it to a work colleague from Chelsea after a couple of years and never saw it again. Still got the bird though! though hopefully won't see her sitting on any bonnet now

The early corsair had the straight 4 cylinder engine with column change gearbox and bench seat, probably the best model. Later cars had v4 engine with reclining seats! Probably the first picture is a 200E model due o the vinyl roof
