I'd say so, otherwise what seems to be a tax disc is directly in front of the driver.

Good job the car kept its bodywork up then

So the car was about 11 years old when you got it? Always thought they had really good lines. Beats my old Herald.

I paid £35 with a years MOT which was about the right price then .I think it was around two weeks wages. Sold it to a work colleague from Chelsea after a couple of years and never saw it again. Still got the bird though! though hopefully won't see her sitting on any bonnet now
The early corsair had the straight 4 cylinder engine with column change gearbox and bench seat, probably the best model. Later cars had v4 engine with reclining seats! Probably the first picture is a 200E model due o the vinyl roof

In the early 1970s, Ford had lots of parts left over which thought about making into a new model, which they were going to call the "Ford Pubic".

It was mostly made up of old Corsairs.
