Apologies if I am covering past ground, but a quick searched revealed nothing...

Just stumbled across the 23" (!) Overfinch wheel fitted to the L405 (and I presume the 494 in time). Also previews the Overfinch bodykit, which I must say I actually quite like (apart from the rear bumper).

These pictures show just the wheels;

What do we think? The first time I saw the wheels, I almost hung my head in disbelief. The more I see them, the less I feel so strongly against them, but I am still firmly in the 'No Likey' camp.

Not for me. I used to really like Overfinch when they did subtle conversions on the first generation Range Rovers, but now they're just catering for the premier league football players of the world.

I actually really like those new wheels especially on a black car, and would probably buy some for my new sc 405 when it arrives in Nov if made by someone else ... But I wouldn't touch anything to do with Overfinch.

Claim to have been going 20+ years
We did work for them when down in Surrey, providing skilled trim fitters for seats & steering wheels.
MD of time (Douglas Cooke) said "spend away" when I was helping them with sourcing seats and parts for them (off personal friends in the industry), when he clearly knew they were in financial trouble.
Then an ex Director bought it out of admin for £2m (Sloane) who I guess messed up their pre-pack plans, but then himself submitted bills to old co, to offset the best parts of £2m of the purchase price and moved it up to Leeds

A lot of local businesses and one man bands got stung heavily, us by £22k which at that time nearly crippled us (but did get a cheque for £700 after it was all settled, which added insult to injury after the IP had billed hundreds of thousands to do it).
They were even accepting and taking the cash for deposits on cars days before getting the administrators in (officially).

Like I said, I do like the wheels and the latest reincarnation of Overfinch seems to be going well ... Maybe I should ask about a free set as recompense for getting royally stuffed in 2010/2011 !!!

Like many others, I used to love the old Classic and P38 Overfinch cars and did nearly buy a 630R. As the LR factory cars have now become much more powerful when the right models are chosen, the point of Overfinch kind of disappeared for me and I would happily just take my Range Rover in dark metallic green, with no tints and sensible wheels. Perhaps I'm just getting old!

Ive had a couple of overfinch l322s over the years but like the previous poster mentioned theres just no point to them anymore as theres just so many factory options now.

These 23" wheels look aweful imo...similar to the cheapo hawke wheels constantly being punted on ebay. Not only that they'd be an absolute mare to clean due to the size and number of nooks and crannies.

Disgusting, pointless, extremely tasteless & tacky and some distance from the original Overfinch models IMHO. - I've never met someone who drove this sort of thing that wasn't a knob; though at least you're able to spot the clown driving it a mile off...especially when it's painted fluorescent pink.

It clearly shows the state we're in when this kind of crap is everywhere but you can't find a single set of rock sliders or a low-profile winch bumper for what's supposed to be the ultimate 4x4!
