Memory cards

We've got an account with Lexar & Delkin for our GoPro stuff but I'm thinking about stocking some high quality memory cards for photographers. Do any of you guys use/rate Lexar or Delkin?

If so, could you point me in the right direction as to which card(s) you would choose and why?

Transcend. Never had a problem with them, don't cost a fortune.

I have some Lexar but if I have time to order high end cards online, I usually find that Sandisk are either cheaper or have better performance for the price; I'd always look for Sandisk first, they always seem to live up to their advertised read/write speads

Thanks, I'd always thought of SanDisk as top quality cards but after the recent GoPro saga I kind of mistrust them now. I guess for still cameras they might have a better reputation.

For those that don't know what happened, in a nutshell, GoPro recommended SanDisk until recently but pulled the plug after alot of their class 10 microSD cards didn't perform to spec which caused no end of problems, returns and refunds for faulty/freezing GoPro cameras. Hence the move to Lexar/Delkin.

I guess SanDisk are still top dog for still photographers though judging by the first few comments.

I can only say that the Sandisk Class 10 SDXC is reliable and fast in my cameras and Lenovo laptop

the fastest new range are branded USH-I (1) which is more than class 10, but even class 10 cards can read from only 10MB/sec to 100 MB/second



Lexar are a top brand as are sandisk.

Many pros tend to use Lexar over Sandisk.

I use some PNY UHS-I 100MB/s cards as they were quite cheap and rated very well

I bought 3 My Memory own brand cards for slightly less than the Transcend cards a couple of years ago for personal stuff and 2 out of three have gone wrong. I only use Transcend and Sandisk for for business and pleasure now as neither have let me down yet.
