Cartier Champagne
Discussion
Hello everyone
I have recently been given 4 bottles of Cartier Champagne and as I don't particularly like wine I thought I might just sell them...
They are only the 20cl and just wondered where the best place to sell them was?
Looking the big bottles seem to be going for over £100 so thought they may be worth £20/30 each?
They appear to be very rare and I cannot seem to find anything out online
Thank
Greg

Post up some pics, or give the exact full name of the champagne. There are lots of Cartiers!

My gut feeling is that it'll be a custom bottling for Cartier - is there an address / any other name on the label?
It's not something I've heard being discussed in hushed tones in wine geek circles so, without wanting to be premature, my suspicion is that it's probably got more value as a curio than as a wine. That doesn't mean it won't be saleable - I can imagine some people being keen on having a Cartier bottle hanging around.

It looks to be produced by Vranken (Pommery, Heidsieck, Charles Lafite)but no idea beyond that as to where it comes from.
As above, I've not come across it in wine circles and can't see it advertised outside of ebay so would suggest it will sell there as a Cartier collectable rather than anywhere more wine focussed.

Given that you've put this on your Ebay advert you've presumably found out more about the Cartier champagne?I have recently been given 4 bottles of Cartier Champagne and as I don't particularly like wine I thought I might just sell them...

"This is rare and not readily available to the public. Gifted to cartier's loyal and very high end clients! The ones who have been lucky enough to taste the Cartier champagne, it is known to be one of the worlds finest fruitiest, sweetest and smoothest. Possessing this bottle is a statement in it's self which words cannot describe!"
Hello everyone
The bulls
t description was added from an old ebay advert I found for a similar bottle whilst I try and find out more about it...
The bottle itself is marked as
Cartier Cuvee Champagne Brut
I have now found this advert and it sold for £130

Mine are only 20cl but looking I may get £20 - £30 each I suppose...

The eBay ad you linked to is full of bull, as it clearly says on the label the Champagne was made by vranken, not in some secret Cartier vineyard, besides which very few champagne houses grow their own grapes anyway. I suspect it's standard champagne in a pricey bottle, but you may find a fashion victim to buy it.
Btw, how old is it? As non-vintage champagne doesn't keep at all well.
