Hi all, just thought I would mention my newly delivered white 3000M delivered today on a low loader to Nottingham, bought from a very nice guy in Berks...at age 59 the only car in my life i have bought on the strength of photos only ! Which maddeningly I cannot seem to load up on here? It hasn't been run for some years and i haggled considerably on the asking price (its been on car and classic ads very recently).Did up a 'sorn' mgbgt four years ago and hoping- with the aid of a trusty local garage- to have as much fun with this. And of course keep that iconic 1970s brown striping and roof trim !

Yeah to be fair it was the pre-80s meeting at Ruddington nr Nottingham the other week that convinced me to buy it as saw some lovely cars and had good chats with a an enthusiastic young man with a Gold 3000M Martin job, and a very nice couple from Worcester with a lovely green/ cream stripe Taimar.

Will get my son to load up a pic later...for some reason this PH site wont take mine!

You will have fun restoring it and there is loads of help and advice here. Just about nearly finished mine bar a few niggles but mine was a real basket case when it arrived.
Look forward to the pictures
