Ok, after the laborious running in procedure of 1000 miles, clocked up this evening, I finally got to floor the accelerator - wow - "well quick"' springs to mind - and I still have a e92 m3 (for a month only) that I can drive to compare and the c63 feels a lot quicker...should get fun now.
It took me just under 3 weeks and I was in Europe for a couple of days and Asia for one of those weeks so I did quite well. What I found helped was leaving work in Slough yesterday, setting Sat Nav for Castle Combe and just heading down the motorway and back - a slight detour but it helped me cover the last 200 off miles. The new Nav has integrated traffic and it works amazingly well.
I am surprised how fast the car feels - it reminds me of when I test drove the new M5 and the power difference over my M3 was quite shocking (obviously I wasn't used to it).
Am going to recalibrate my senses a touch and get used to the cars performance...
