Just wondered how many living in the Highlands and Islands. I know of me and 2 others (on Lewis and Skye).

Thinking of organising a 'blat' at some stage, but need to know if there are enough to fill a paper bag.

Apologies up front as I may bump this to the top from time to time!

Not as far North as that. Based near Loch Lomond but would happily take the Boxster on a trip further North. The roads there are just begging to be driven.

Shady... you should be working!

Stuart... you are now on the list. Don't hold your breath mind - my house is being rebuilt so it'll be a while.

Looking at May - not sure which year though.

I live just north of Inverness and have a V8S.
A work mate also lives in the same area and has a 5.0 Chimeara.
I have also met another gentleman in Inverness who owns a Chimeara.

If you guys are going 'blatting' near Loch Lomond, be sure to include the A82 between Tarbet and Inverarnan. It's a fairly short piece of road, but when it's clear (and you don't get stuck behind some duffer in a Montego/Caravan combo) it's pure heaven!!

One of Scotlands finest IMHO......

p.s. Can I come?

all welcome... although the way things are going with my house build (or lack thereof) I might be stuck down south

Just saw this.... I'll be up near Inverness around end April/Early May for a few days. Can't say exact dates, it depends on how much work my manifolds need.
The car will need a good shakedown run after it's service so that everything is good for Le Mans.

Will probably be terrorising the Loch Ness back roads round Fort Augustus/Whitebridge/Foyers area for one day and then heading on a circuit West/North West of Inverness for a day.

Anybody think they will be around for a little drive or a beer somewhere?

my profile says yorkshire but I'm really a Glasgow lad

Andy

I'll be in the Torridon area at that time (about 100 miles north of Fort William)... if you gt up that far, send an e mail and we could share a 'wee dram'

or indeed a blat (although I'm in the RS6 so don't expect me to 'do' corners )

Keep me informed, I might be able to get out, if it's stopped raining by then, although if it stops raining, I'll be starting the garage build.......

I'll post back on this thread if I get it sorted nearer the time. It will be fairly last minute though as the car will be in for a service and I'll need to run in the bike pretty sharpish so I can't say exactly when I will be in the area.

Cheers
Andy
