locked multiple posts ebay

There have been a few multiple posts recently, mainly concerning eBay. The posters have been told to search the ebay number before posting to avoid this.
Trouble is, your search function doesn't seem to have the ability to search all forums.
Can this be rectified?

Whilst you're working on the search algorithm, Ted, it would be useful to restrict the search to just the threads one has either started or contributed to.

A number of times a question has been asked which I'm sure I've answered before and I want to search for it amongst all the posts I've made. Unfortunately 6500+ posts spread over several fora are very difficult to search.
