Who to buy Royal Mail shares from ?
Discussion
Hi,
I've just submitted my application at https://royalmailshares.service.gov.uk/publichomep...
There's probably other ways to do it but I'm not to clued up with shares etc.
Hope this helps,
D

Depends on what you want to do with the shares really - keep them a while, or attempt to flip them quickly?
ThanksI have just submitted my application directly to the government as i wanted to do it sooner rather than later, but guess i will have to register with a stockbroker in order to sell them on at a later date providing i actually get any.
Have chosen the nominate route rather than holding a physical share certificate which i presume still enables me to sell if wanted pretty quickly.
All depends on allocation and of course the market whether or not i keep them a while or flip them relatively quickly.

I re did it on a PC, it went through to a payment page, then a verified by visa, and finally a page with rough details on the application number, and they said they would send an email.I didnt after 30 mins so far and no confirmation screen after payment screen either.

That appeared a couple of minutes later.
If you are using some Apple product, try a different computer to get it to work.

Interesting, when you say "into" your ISA what does that mean? RichB said:

I have a stocks and shares ISA.You invest your ISA allowance into an account and can then use the funds to buy/sell shares.
