That's a stunning looking car! I always loved the TME. For me, the original wheels look better, but everyone has different tastes.

Sorry to hear about the engine woes and I hope they get sorted asap.

Super clean

I had stock suspension with eibach springs and mine drove lovely but I had 17" wheels , never been in an Evo with 18" that rode well

Yes. You simply have no taste. Ha ha!

The OE suspension is frankly, rubbish. Aside from having loads of travel it's not really all that good at coping with Scottish roads. Usually a set of coilovers will improve the ride and the handling, but the BC's have quite the opposite effect. I had Teins on my last one and they drastically improved things. But like I say, they will be replaced as soon as I have the car back.

I also think there was nothing at all wrong with the originals but I won't go as far as awful on the new ones, they do look a bit small but then again I am guessing this is the kind of car you would want to be running a bit of sidewall!

Absolutely love the TME, more of an Impreza fan boy but these are a very special car. I think the OEM wheels suit the car much better personally.

The OEM wheels look much better than the Rotas, but it's good to see a car like this being used.

With all the changes you've made why do that to a TME? Why not get an Evo 6 RS?

Not having a go, just curious as the TME is a sought after car and surely keeping it original but well maintained would be a wise move for protecting its future value?

Fair enough, I guess if it isn't going to appreciate in value then you might as well personalise and tweak it, afterall the age old addage "my toy I can do what I like" always applys!

It's a shame that the engine went pop, hopefully it isn't too expensive to get going again.

Always loved the Evo 6 shape ever since seeing one in the metal at a import dealers and managed to blag a cheeky passenger ride in it before it was prepped for sale, must say if I had the funds I would have one

And your 6 looks very clean, hope the engine rebuild goes smoothly
