I have been reading posts on that site for a while, I can tell you that some anti-scamera posters are completely ignored or berated, even though the language is civil and polite.
this is very true. the forum was set up to answer questions that members of the public may have about speed, sorry "safety", camera operations in cumbria

for the unanswered questions so far - disgusting.
It is now 10 out of 10 votes. no surprise there then.
Even if you adopt a policy of "a spoonful of honey catches more wasps than a barrel of vinegar approach" questions still get unanswered or ignored.
To go off tangent just had a neighbour get back off his hols to say that he's had an anti-scam post accepted by the BBC!
When he sent it I must confess I wet myself laughing at it and told him no chance.
see www.bbc.co.uk/wales/northwest/yoursay/topics/speed_cams.shtml
and scroll down to find one from "retired old bill"
Which reads as follows:-
"I say to Wales keep on with your anti-motorist policy.
Family has a tourist related business, and the number of customers are increasing who come in and say "I used to go to Wales at least once a year, but no longer". Some of the reasons cited result from the vicious anti-motorist policies in place.
So I say "Carry on Wales you numpties" we'll reap the benefit."
No comment needed from me.
