Sorry if this has been done to death but which is the best cover available that will not damage paintwork. Some have said that they have had no adverse affects but others say different. I have no garage so want to cover in winter months if suitable.

I don't know which is the best, but I have the Aston one, it's well made, and has fleecy stuff inside.

General advice seems to be to clean the car carefully before fitting it. I only use mine before leaving the car for a while to stop bird crap etc. adding/removing it is a bit of a pain, and so is making sure the car is clean enough.

Also, I'm not convinced that it's better for the paintwork than leaving it outside, if you can clean of anything nasty quickly.

Don't fit it while the engine is warm either.

Same reply as to the other thread...................

If you dont really want one that fits as snug as my Pink Latex Mankini, then try the Hamilton Classic cover. I use both indoor and outdoor covers from them and whilst they are not quite as poseur friendly as the skin tight ones, they are exemplary at protecting the car.

I would not hesitate at buying an outdoor one and using it in-garage if I had not already bough the indoor one.
