Hi all.

Lovely to be back. Thought I'd post a couple of photos of the old girl for your perusal. She's a '97 4.5 in Halcyon Midas pearlescent, full black hide and (ice-cold!) aircon. Almost all original with the exception of the yellow door cards and headlining which I believe were originally black, and Gaz Gold suspension. Mileage is just 33000. It does make me wonder, how many R-reg 4.5s were made? There certainly don't seem to be many, only a couple from these hallowed pages.

To those wondering what the black line is across the bootlid, it is actually painted on due to the previous owner not wanting the risk of mismatched pearlescent paint, or the high cost, or perhaps a bit of both. It does tamper with the lines so it will be getting done once the mechanicals are sorted.

Looking good sir. Loud and bright , not likely to miss you. Bet your neighbours celebrated when the Tuscan went, don't suppose they welcomed the new car home though! wink

Close relations! Must have been a shock.

Were these cars both new from Dorset? Wasn't it Nigel Mansell Sportscars or something? I think the EAN part is from down there?

Could be Henley Heritage, lots of cars round here have plates ending EAN.

Its HH. Might even have my signature in the handbook as I was selling them when we had the EAN allocation. It will be me or Louise.

Thanks for the kind words. Looking forward to getting some proper use out of her, the poor thing has only covered 400 miles or so in the last three years.

Great stuff Rob - nice loud colour for a nice loud car. Not sure if I've told you but I've had five Broom Yellow Fiats over the years, so am a big fan.

Uncanny that yellow one with the almost identical plate, great picture opportunity there!

Look forward to seeing it!
