As 'Goldmember' recieved its shiny new engine today and its all coming together nicely, Im after lining up my next 'project'

Anyone got a motor hidden up in a garage or barn that they simply dont have the time to finish, or start?

preferably TVR, but Im up for anything that needs plenty of work.

I've got some bits of a SIII 88" land rover.

Rolling chassis (but very rusty), bulkhead, most bodywork bits except for a roof/rear tub and a front panel. There's also no engine/gearbox/dashboard. But it does have a 1977 (I think) plate and logbook.

My intention is to roughly put it back together for bramble bashing / scrub clearing.

What about the 3000s for restoration on the TVR Club site to much work for me and not enough knowledge and Skill but you would do a fantastic job and probably justify the expense as finished they have a strong value

I guess my 390 could be up for grabs if the price was right too ???
It's not a full project though mind you, more of a case of a few jobs need doing.
Drives like a dream biggrin

Am thinking of getting a chimp but would I regret it ???

Yes mate...Its cost a bloody fortune for the food and straw, They might look cute when they are young but they eat bananas like they are going out of fashion and their poo stinks!..You have to mother them and clip their toenails which can be difficult as they keep grabbing the clipper's with their feet..You have to de-flea them regular and worm them..They follow you everywhere and are always whining..As they grow they still require mothering..I have a fully grown 30 year old and its looking more like dog food every day, You are welcome to have it mate...Please....Ziga

Now I've got the 400 I seem to have lost my drive to get my 350 done, couple that with 3 kids and my business getting busier by the day. I think I may need to move the 350 on.
I can email you lots of details and photos if you're interested

Then I can focus all my attentions on the 400
And the kids, obviously!

That would be the one, but Cardiff is a bloody long way away!

Shame, if I had a trailer I would have been there like a shot.

Maybe get someone to deliver it to you? It would probably only cost a couple of hundred so that's still a cheap project in my book.

Shiply is a good start for vehicle transport. I paid about £250 to have a land rover rolling chassis delivered from hemel hempstead to plymouth.
