Hi,
What is your honest opinion of the "true" 0-60 of the maserati 3200 gt ?
opinions vary from dealer to dealer and websites!
just curious to see what the "real" owners think ?
thanks for the advice.

Very very quick - IF you can get the power down ...

Comes into its own on the 50 to 70's or the 70 to 100+ manouveres

I think the automatic's about 5.7 and the manual 5.2 but don't forget they do several runs to get that figure.

This morning I nearly lost out in a traffic light battle purely because the road was wet and the ASR came on.

Not that I normally get involved in that sort of thing, just a particularly obnoxious Peugeot cap-wearing driver who'd been tail-gating me.

IMO, the trick to getting a quick time (in a manual car) is to get 1st gear to about 3,500 revs progressively, change into 2nd and then floor it. If you try to floor it in 1st, you'll end up with a lot of smoke and a bill for 2 new rears. Make sure it isn't damp/wet...

As for time...not sure exactly. Around 5s I would say, possibly 4.7? 30-100mph, though, is out of this world...

Personally, I have found the 3200 is quicker than the 2 F355's I've had...in a straight line...as long as it isn't wet...
