How far out the back of the car are people running the new diffusers (Jetstream,TonyVan,Reverie etc) - Seem to remember a comment about grounding the fins out on speed bumps?
I would rather not re-invent the wheel if somone can say xx centimetres works well or xx cm's causes probs.
Thanks.

Hi Al , think we finished on 100 mm but basicly it matched the std side returns already fitted . Secret is to taper them to a point at the front and have a pretty good curve at the back . I used a std dinner plate biggrin

Hey

Can people post photos of their larger rear defuser?
Its a modification I am looking to complete over winter.

You missed Diffuser wars last year.

Think this is a reverie item :

Tuxman / Jetstream version:

Not forgetting TonyVan's version :

And finally Grahams (GC1) :

TBH they all look similar, probably for a reason.

Stated mine yesterday , I will try my fins jutting out the back a bit more, until they ground out - Then I will take Simons advice and get the dinner plates out :

This diffuser is made from aluminium, and before anybody flags it, the calipers are going to be changed.

Here is the painted mould for mine

And a pic of the mould on car before it's painted, might not be obvious to all but as it's the mould it's the outside edges that will be final part... Not decided on how the curve on fins will be yet,

This is crazy, it looks like a damn F1 car. Suddenly wishing I'd had a higher attention span when I repainted mine last year.
