E63 ESTATE DELIVERY DATES

Hi

Has anyone recently ordered a new E63 estate and if so when is delivery expected?
If anyone has recently taken delivery of one when did you order?

I'm just trying to see whether this compares to what I've been told by my lease company.

there's some delay on build dates due to problems with engine supply (order prior end sept, meant build in jan) - the fact that we couldn't get a clear build date meant the dealer couldn't know for sure what the best manufacturer incentives were and thus the deal on offer wasn't especially interesting to me and my business has, sadly, gone elsewhere.

Ordered end of July, delivery end of Nov.

I ordered in Feb, collected in July.

Seawise, the deal that was on offer when I ordered mine had expired by the time ours was delivered. MBFinance had to re-open the offer so that my paperwork could be processed on the agreed terms.

thanks for the replies so far. i ordered 6 months ago but still don't have a confirmed date which is making me nervous.
all i'm told is probably january but that's not confirmed.

That does sound wrong. It did take a little while to get a delivery date (a week or so) but they gave me a specific date of delivery to the dealer and have since confirmed that date twice. I hope they do stick to it!
I had also heard that there had been technical problems with the sunroof delaying production - though I never did get to know any details.

I have to say that doesn't sound good. I was given a delivery date very early on and it came in very close to it. Mode went back for a secondary inspection, or something, and that delayed it a week or so.
Is there anything strange in the spec that could hold it up? Or is it an S model or something like that?

I ordered a bog standard E63 estate and the only option was a camera. I spoke to a dealer who said if I order now then I can expect December delivery, which is why I think I'm being strung along.

I guess it's back to the drawing board and try and get my deposit back.

Do you mind me asking which lease company?

I can highly recommend the Business Development lady I used at Merc Manchester. I do know that they had a cancelled E63 estate come through, so there is a possibility you might be able to pick up a car earlier if you're in the right place at the right time.

Prefer not to name and shame (yet) but it's the one I think you originally got a quote from, and then used to do deal with your MB dealer.

Strange. I've only heard good things about them up until now.

Did you order panoramic roof? Can't remember where I saw it but there was a run on these and supply was limited. However my memory is hazy...

Yes, exactly. The panoramic roof is standard fit.

Yet more delays being blamed on the pano roof so it's time to look elsewhere I think. For those of you that have them you lucky g1ts they seem fantastic cars.

I've had mine confirmed again just now, still for delivery end Nov - so while it's a long wait - it's not getting any worse and now just 6 weeks away.
