Ouch! - poor turbo

I was strolling through Geneva old town on Saturday morning and stumbled across this. No sign of the owner, nor of the other vehicle that caused this parking mishap, but I'm guessing somebody won't be happy.

Still - if he lives in Geneva I'm guessing the repair bill isn't something he needs to worry about!

I hate people that can... 1. Cause this amount of damage whist parking (if indeed they were just parking) and 2. Leave the scene without leaving a contact number!

I feel sorry for the owner weather he or she (in Geneva) can afford it or not!

Think we're jumping to conclusions.

We don't know it wasn't all dealt with earlier, details exchanged etc.

Maybe it was the turbo reversed into the other object rather than the one being hit.

They're probably all so 'rich' in Geneva that they just bash into things for the fun of it...oh the Swiss and their wacky sense of humour!!

That's the interior colour to have in Geneva, pretty much regardless of the exterior colour.

I agree, I had the same thing happen a while back on my E55, someone smashed the front in while parked and caused £8ks worth of damage and I lost my NCB, I dread to think what the repair bill on that Turbo will be like.

I have been bumped four times times in 12 years out here and in all but one case (my neighbour!), the perp Foxtrot Oscared. Of the other three; the first polished out, the second just added to the patina but the third has cracked the PU and I am making my first ever claim on 'my' 'parking insurance'. It is common to have parking insurance out here (you can claim on it and will not lose your NCD) but it probably costs 10% of the annual premium on a new car so over 12 years I am somehwat out of pocket!

Perhaps the perps assume that you are covered and feel less compelled to do the decent thing...
