Santa Pod - 19th October - aka Superchargers VS Turbo

Inspired by the the ' Turbo VS Supercharer' Thread we are looking to visit Santa Pod and settle matters properly

On 19th October Santa Pod have a "Run What Ya Brung" - it a special all day event from 9am to 9pm - so night time drag racing, so calling TVR's that shoot flames

If you have never done a 1/4 mile it is huge amounts of fun and lots of time to chat to other folk while you wait for next run - I have only been once but instantly hooked - see my video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2feWPPHtSw - if you fast forward to 2 minutes you will see Daz beat me! to be fixed this time round

p.s. N/A engines also very welcome

Answers to common questions

1) You do not need a Crash helmet unless you go the speed Derek does
2) No extra insurance required
3) £30 for 9am - 9pm (£25 - for 9am - 4pm)

I`m a bit worried the engine seemed to smoke a bit on the video . It`s had a remap since then so it should go pretty well .

The sunday (the 20th) is also a 'Rung what ya bring' - (see calendar http://www.rwyb.co.uk/dates.php) - so I guess you can camp over.

I`m not asking if it`s going to be to cold on the day ! I`m saying it`s a bit late in the year for camping ..

If this is really inspired by the Turbo v Supercharge thread, as the original poster I suppose I ought to turn up & at least observe. Especially as its only 15 minutes away from me, faces to names & all that !
