Hi

Have you checked the fuses?

can you lock them once inside with the button in the middle of the opener knob. If so this narrows down the problem area to the alarm/imoob. end.

I had the same problem once and believe it or not it was due to the fact that the button which operates the interior light was no longer pushing in properly on the drivers side. Seems that this is tied up with the locking mechanism. Try locking the car with the door open pushing in the button manually, could be a problem with either side.

Hope this helps

Steve.

i had similar and it turned out to be a fuse inside the alarm box which also doubles as the central locking processor it was a stupid computer type fuse that i couldnt get anywhere

You may find the alarm needs to be reset. Disconnect the battery for a bit (about a minute), then reconnect it and press the key fob two or three times within 60 ish seconds.
Open one of the windows before you do it just in case the door shuts when you disconnect the battery or you will have to break into it.
I speak from experience here. DOH
I also had the missing rubber thing on the door, that caused the car to instantly unlock itself when I locked it.
