Did not find anything on the forum about this, but anyone knows which light bulbs best can be used as "city lights" (RDL) if you want these to be more "white", so more matching to the main (Xenon) front lights?

In the Vantage, Rapide and Vqs there are LEDs instead of normal bulbs, but on the DB9/DBS there are very "yellow" light bulbs as standard, so best is it to have these in 6000 Kelvin bulbs or so.

Any experience/thoughts what brand/type will fit?

TIA!

They are standard T5 bulbs so its entirely personal preference regarding colour/brightness.

You will find that some are sold as blue white and some as pure white (or similar terminology). Stick with pure white they match the HIDs better.
Also, make sure you buy the variants with multiple LEDs which project in all directions (rather than single front projecting only types).

Lastly, they are a sod to fit. Good luck!

Just telling it as it is!

Realistically, its about a 30 minute a side job...
Wheel arch liner off, drop air filter down then find a friend with 5ft long thin arms with nimble fingers.
Job done smile

It is called like that overhere, but it is the small yellow front light, next to the main (white) HID beams, fitted together in one lamp unit.

Thx, so will look for the best looking T5 bulb.

the original ones had to be replaced anyway, so now I will change them directly to white ones! smile

Use LED or SMD bulbs, they last forever and are bright white.

Gerry,

Thanks for this. This is a "must" upgrade for me. I hate the yellow side lights. They remind me of my Morris Minor.

BR will sort it I'm sure

Ok, finally time to do this. How do I find a decent SMB LED bulb that fits H5 fitting?

I googeled around of course, but can not find a good link.

Before, I bought some LEDs (for the interior, looks great in fact!) here:

Any thoughts?
