Silly idea time - PH Ecosse tv

Just thinking out loud here. With our plethora of cars, roads, skills and enfoosiasm, could we put together something more professional than we currently do?

I'm always super impressed with the content of our run videos and the places we go. I'll be showing these collections to my kids one day.

Could and should we give what we're up to more air time?

Thinking of doing a feature on one or 2 cars on each run and then a bit about them and the owner. Include video of their car on the run with proper sound recording.

Pretty sure I could put together one report a month from our runs.

So what's your thoughts?

I'm sorta making a wee video at the moment.

I used to do a bit of editing in my spare time, its just taking a bit of time as I'm making everything in 1080p HD, some footage is in 720p but you can't tell the difference.

If anyone is willing, next run bring me your SD, i'll copy the sd at the end or during lunch. Only takes about 3mins.

Sounds like it could be interesting, you thinking a bit like PH Car Pool?

steelej is rather good at video production/editing but will probably require a fair bit of spare time?

I'd be interested as long as it was only recording the car and not me!

Definitely like the sound of this idea. More and more cars on these runs have GoPros, would be great to collect all the footage and edit it all together, plus a couple of interviews of owners talking about their car at the coffee/lunch stops.

I'd like to do more filming so if there is a need for a photo/video guy I'm keen. Not for the next 8-9 weeks though...working weekends at the moment.

I haven't done much editing so could do with some practice too if no one else wants to.

My YouTube gets quite a lot of viewers, if we wanted somewhere to cast it, I'm more than happy for it to be used.
