Loud bang/explosion last night?

I should have said I live next to Gatwick Airport so used to hearing noise but this was quite something. unless a plane fell over of course....

Maybe it was 'Lewis' that made the noise (perhaps as a result of your friend being 'in' them).

I got a massive bang from the Chims exhaust last night, I know its loud, but if it was heard in Lewes and Gatwick then perhaps I have gone a bit overboard.

I heard a loud bang too, I live in Eastbourne, didn't really give it much more thought until i saw your post!
