Well, it's that time of year again...

Sunninghill have given me a quote of £950 for the Tuscan (5yrs NCB, clean licence, 6k/year, £500 xs, track day cover, garaged, quiet neighbourhood, 38yo co. director) - only £20 cheaper than last year, even with an extra year's NCB

Gonna look at the usual suspects: Mannings, Liverpool Victoria, Tesco (), but who else is 'cheap' these days?

Update: Liverpool Victoria want £680 for the same cover (except track days). Hmmm...

You just can't tell Judas. LV came in a lot more expensive than Sunninghill for me, because of the mods (dampers and roll bar!!!).

I've got the daily insured with LV though, and I've found their customer service absolutely brilliant.

Peart Associates were good for me - especially when dealing with modifications which some other companies wouldn't touch. Tel 0870 240 2972

Are their call centres in the UK, or further abroad? For that matter, anyone know where Liverpool Victoria's call centres are located? I'd rather pay more than give my money to a company outsourcing to India.

I always did very well with Mannings, being insured on tvrs with them for the last 6 years, and never over a grand. My last renewal was under 700 quid. Not bad for a 30 yr old!

I've gone with sunninghill on my modded Chimaera..

save 400 quid of my renewal with flux ( admittedly i did go from 12k to 5k miles and dropped the business use and lost the free rac cover) and gained free track day cover
