cant get through to vw finance, absolute s***

can anyone get through to them?

tried about 10 times in last month and they never pick up, tried all the options

basically i have now traded in my seat which was on finance and would like to have written confirmation the fiance has settled before i cancel the direct debit

tried to phone vw finance, seat finance and audi finance and all seem to go through to the same switchboard.
the automated system does not work when i put in my details which indicate it has been settled but i would like to have some confirmation before i cancel the direct debit

Just cancel the direct debit and then they'll be very quick in calling you if you miss a payment - if you pay quickly enough (as soon as they contact you) should there be anything outstanding, they won't send a report to a credit reference agency that you missed the payment anyway.

This - if payments are taken incorrectly it is very easy to have them repaid (without a failed DD strike on your credit record) by using the direct debit guarantee - Just phone the bank and they can reverse any transaction.

I need to contact them for work purposes, colleague spent 3 1/2 hours on hold trying to get through last week.

thats what i have thought so have left the direct debit live, im happy to pay extra and claim back later but just trying to hold hold of anyone has been a pain.

Did a post on their facebook site and they replied within minutes and gave me an email address. funny how they dont answer the telephone but have time to facebook

Marketing Vs customer service departments - employ staff to get business, when they've got it they don't care! (despite it being cheaper to retain existing customers than attract new ones)

OP, ping us the reg number across by PM and I can at least check to see of the finance has been removed on HPI.

just a quick update, the finance team have now called me and advised cleared off and have emailed me confirmation

strage how cant get in touch for weeks, then a post on facebook and the matter is resovled in 30 mins

Properly crap service IMO. Avoid them next time and fund it by other methods.
