Targa Florio cancelled?

Anyone know about this? My mechanic has spent 3 days preparing a car for the event and has just been told the organisers have gone bust and it won't be going ahead, 2 days before the event! Theres going to be a lot of cars on their way there and a lot of disappointed/angry people. Not much info out there on it apart from Ferrari forums as apparently Ferrari are stepping in to make sure their race goes ahead, sadly not the other classics though.

I'm sure Harry Metcalf mentioned something about that on twitter the other day and just said it was cancelled.
