My AM Vantage N400 is due its fourth year service.
Wilmslow has quoted 1050£ and JCT Leeds 950£
Not a significant difference
Both offer collection and delivery and free warranty inspection
As I sourced my car from Charles Hurst in NI I have no loyalty to either of them
Which dealer would the forum members prefer?

Just double check the scope is the same IIRC some did this comparison on a DB9 and one of them left out a cabin filter.
After some issues I voted with my feet and moved to JCT.
I would go back but they are now too far for me.

Wilmslow will match the price quoted by JCT
both are sort of the same distance from where I live
hence the dilemma
Have decided to stick with main dealers for now
therefore I have not contacted Bridge Mill
though I have read several positive reviews about them

Why pay an extra £100 if the work they do on your car is identical?

JCT600 everytime! I have had nothing but good experiences with all servicing and warrenty issues, and indeed sales.

I've never dealt with Wilmslow's service desk in fairness but their sales team left me cold - I would not go back to buy a car from them in a hurry.

My V12V is having its 4th service at a Wilmslow in a few weeks.
Wilmslow service department are always brilliant with me so I've never had reason to try JCT.
I always discuss the pricing with them when booking in and agree on a price we are both happy with, being a saving on the official price and being the same or better than my next closest dealer.

I had the same dilemma and opted to go to Wilmslow.
I have huge respect for BR but my car was still under Warranty and its easier for a Dealer to make a claim. Plus Warwickshire is a fair trek.
Wilmslow matched JCT and its a lot nearer me than Leeds.
Nick Plochl , the Service Manager at Wilmslow is really helpful and a very nice guy to deal with. They made me very welcome and although my car is a 2007 and not a new Vanquish , I was never made to feel a poor relation. He gave me good impartial advice and I would certainly return.
Their body shop Manager Andy is also really helpful and knows his stuff.
With regards to renewing the Warranty, my car had been bomb proof and on that basis I took a chance and did not renew.
I only hope I don't live to regret the decision!!!!

I used Wilmslow for most of my warranty work and JCT for most of my servicing.

Wilmslow would never be as competitive as JCT when I was looking.

As Mr Gould will no doubt point out, Wilmslow will allow you to take your own oil but JCT will not. Company policy. smile

If you go to JCT ask for their "Porsche special" which is what I got when I took the mrs Boxster in for a rattle from the engine bay. This special involves keeping your car for ten days longer than they quote before finding an issue which is actually in a service bulletin, putting nearly 100 miles on it for "road tests" and then returning it to you with the brand new light grey interior leather and seats covered in grime and oil - they make sure both doors AND the dashboard are not left out too. Mind it wasn't the AM branch in Leeds so they may have to contact their OPC for advice on how to do this type of customer service.

Not that I'm bitter in any way....... rolleyes

I do hope you haven't blagged your way to special treatment with a promise of creating a Wilmslow Calendar have you?

A different technician each month in oil soaked overalls and eating a pie, whilst looking at a failed AM part with a quizzical look on their face just won't compare to the Pirelli Calendar, in my opinion of course whistle

Huh why would you take a Boxster into the Aston dealer, especially when JCT also have a OPC dealership just 200yrs down the road? If you comments relate to the JCT OPC centre then fair enough, I have had bad experiences there too myself, but rest assured they are chalk and cheese different in size, approach and customer service to the AM centre which just happens to be owned by the same group.

Hi Adams, you may have to read it again, I make it clear it wasn't the AM dealer but a JCT OPC branch. I really hope they are chalk and cheese. I wonder if it's an OPC thing based on your experience, rather than a Jct thing. Mine wasnt actually in Leeds but I had actually considered going to that one as it's my next nearest. Looks like that plan is out of the window too!

I've no axe to grind re Wilmslow but Leeds were the best of any dealership I've ever used for any marque.

Tina who runs service reception is an absolute star. The work was always 100% (I sold the vantage a couple of months ago) and the whole experience was excellent

Always found Wilmslow to be top class.

They are got VERY close to the Bridge Mill price for my recent V8V service.

Thanks for sharing your experiences
I think I will probably go with Wilmslow
They have a 3 year service plan that you pay monthly
I have not received the figures yet
but seems a nice way to spread the cost
Any thoughts?
