Cut a long story short TV packed up yesterday, and need a 42 inch Full hd/ hd digi smart TV, but NOT 3D, looking to spend about £700, picture quality is important please! Sugestions would be gratfully reciecved, thanks P.
I just bought a Sony W653 42" for the kitchen at £550, very impressed so far. Will meet your requirement and comes with wall bracket although does stick out maybe 5cm from the wall.

Very pleased with look, quality and picture. The sound is a bit tinny but we have a Pioneer/Mission system so not too worried. Recommended (42" also available)
