I'm looking for someone to work alongside me here at PHHQ to assist me in the day to day running of the PH community. It's a big job for someone with lots of scope for learning a wide range of skills, one day we'll be sipping a beer in Le Mans and the next working all hours to prepare the board presentation of our lives. Life will be varied to say the least.

You'll need to have a decent knowledge of PH (as we'll need you to hit the ground running) as well as a good track record of general business practices and flexibility in spades (PH is 24/7 after all). It's an exec role (so a great step into publishing) with a salary of circa £25k...and you'll have a great boss too wink

An ad will go live to the masses this week, but I wanted to give you a head start for obvious reasons. Ad copy as follows.

If you have specific questions please email me as it's a more polite way of discussion with interested candidates. I also encourage straightforward applications but please ensure you attach an up to date CV and I will do my best to reply to emails promptly.

General questions, of course, can be posted here on the thread.

To clarify, we open at 09.30 and close at 17.30 (officially) but the successful candidate will need to realise that moderation, events and suchlike do occur out of hours and over weekends and they will be involved in that aspect of the site too.

However, we are reasonable hehe

I drove to LeMans in a V8 Lexus with a picture of Chris Harris face spread across the bonnet. And have owned 9 Mx5's.

Surely this makes me very much overqualified for the position hehe

Based on greater London and a 25k salary?

Can anyone afford to live inside the M25 on 25k a year?

Surely rent is at least 1/3 of that?

Can I have the job?
