•Russ Bost and Mark Harrison, from Essex, are turning heads in their incredible homemade Formula One racing cars

•The red Ferrari car and blue Red Bull car have a top speed of 170mph
•They also have a 190 brake horse power engine - taking them from 0 to 60 in just 3.5 seconds
•The impressive vehicles were built from scratch

Has anybody seem these?

They look fairly like F1 cars to me. Not my sort of thing, but I think it's a bit out of order to moan about how they look. Unless you've done better yourself of course wink

Fair enough but kind of makes them look a bit odd, the number plate is always goign to spoil it and the ground clearance needs working on, still, seeing one would brighten your day, we need eccentrics.

I would assume the plates come off and there are adjustable dampers to make it more track friendly.

It's just in a road legal guise at the moment.

not the prettiest things on the road, but 10/10 for effort!

I wonder what clicked and made them think 'those guys on the telly, with the mutli million pound budget and teams of engineers, that make those cars, i fancy a go at that, wheres my saw?'

I wonder about the copy right on the paint schemes and brands... I'd have one as a track car but not on the road.

The Tyrrell 001 was built in a shed and Jackie Stewart managed to put it on pole first time out, theres a lot to be said for garden shed engineering.

Why ruin all the work with Red Bull ads and not some nice paint or design? They are basically pretending to be F1 cars with the livery on them. Take note, I'm not saying what 'was' but 'what's' - what IS going through their minds.
