Thinking of selling the GT3

An unfortunate change of personal circumstances means that I may be selling the GT3 (996.2).

Question is, I can wait until the spring... Should I?
I've only done 1600 miles in the past year, so really I'm not getting value out of the car. Does anyone have an opinion on where prices for good ones will be in 6 months compared to now? Opinions welcome.

i shall look into my crystal ball as going by the spec youve said... id say theyll prob start to plateau now before heading up next spring time

I just want to abide by forum rules that's all.

i know a lit of people watch the values, and know peak season to low season variation, and im trying to weight up whether its worth holding on.

If its a good car, you could advertise it at 30K and sell it in less than a day (as proven with the Yellow one yesterday). Question is how desperate are you ?

It is all subject to your own personal needs and circumstances.

Did you buy in the Spring? Then sell in the Spring and minimise your losses.
Is the car financed? Consider the additional interest, may be cheaper to off-load it now.
Consider the lack of use, against the bills to bring it to market in tip-top condition.

Just my 2p worth... But good luck whichever route you choose

I know this is in mirth, but if it's not sat with me then the risk of bills is reduced significantly.
It's a goodun though, and was meant to be my keeper, but I recently found myself single, and a GT3 is not a bachelor car!

It isn't?? What's a bachelor car if that isn't? Having said that my now wife didn't know I had 911 when we first started dating being in London, and the day I rocked up in it to take her out for the day she visibly recoiled as she set her eyes on it and then proceeded to slide down into the seat when she got in so that no-one would see or recognise her...I was most put out as she wasn't the slightest bit impressed...so you may be right OP after all!
