and cant we remove the locked tread above?

It was put there for a reason, it was to try to deter owners from blatantly posting entry information when somebody posts "I'm locked out Help".
Twice on that tread alone I had to remove sensitive information.
OK I know it's not rocket science if to think about it. Nevertheless, don't let us make it any easier for some scrote to steal and joyride our P&J's.
Now this post will have a sticky and replace the other one for a couple of days.
So no need to remove the tape yet mattav.

I tell you what... if anyone posts such sensative information again I will hunt them down and tell them my interesting stories about the Great Western Canal (Leicester section).. that will deter them!!
When I sleep I tie a piece of string around my wife's toe and attach it to a wind screen wiper! (shame we are divorced!)

Let me explain.. I recently popped into my local Tesco's and demanded mircowave burgers armed with a rivet gun. They correctly pointed out 1) It was more of manual rivet compression tool than a gun 2) I should have uses an ali rivet as the steel are bound to rust... both valuable insights.
Did I mention the lovely canal ring that loops through Market Harborough???
