Just as I thought it was too good to be true, the V8v model year2010 has started to sound the reverse park assist warning beeper whenever reverse is engaged if it is wet weather. Its a long uninterrupted squeal rather than the intermittent beep stage. I believe the sensor mounted in a little black box on the right hand side rear bumper is shorting or too sensitive to the water, because if I dry it off it stops the beeper for a shrt time. It works fine in dry weather.

I think they are around £40 each at astonmartinparts.com but are they easy to change?

I'm hoping it doesn't involve the rear bumper coming off as I understand that is a big job frown

Anybody done this at all please for advice?

Wierd - mine stay on if the weather is hot!!! During this summer they don't really work if its above 26 degrees - fine when it's cold. Very fickle these AMs!

I'm going to send it into JCT before the warranty expires.

If we put the two together maybe they'll work as they should, smile
