Laminova cored charge coolers - anyone fabbing them in UK?

What it says on the tin really; anyone know of any fabricators experienced with fabricating Laminova based one-offs or batches?

Never really seen anyone use them! On paper they look great but from the limited uses I have seen they are massive compared to normal bar and plate coolers.

I sort of wondered if that might be the case but was hoping they cold be packaged more compactly than an 'equivalent' bar and plate jobbie

Well the garrett bar and plate chargecooler core that supports 1000bhp is approx 5"x5"x12".

It's that 5inch thickness that's the problem; 3.5 would be much better!

You can get normal ones made almost any shape/size you want. But no matter what type, there'll need to be sufficient size to make them work
