Dawn simulators

Has anyone got any experience of these?

I must admit I hate dark mornings and Mrs H6 is rather ' seasonally sensitive ' and finds it hard to wake up in the dark (regardless of bedtime)

Thoughts have therefore turned to a dawn simulator alarm clock

Be glad to hear of anyone's experiences or recommendations

The ex wife has one. It woke me an hour early every day; she slept through it.

It was one of the first things I delivered to her new flat.

I've got a Lumie and wouldn't go back to a normal clock. Sunrise is 30 mins before I get up. It plays bird song at getting up time. It locks up from time to time, but. I haven't found a decent replacement yet. Sometimes I need to unplug to clear it.
