993 colour opinion

I've had the car for over 5 years now and bought based on history and spec (sports seats, c2 manual) however, out if interest I was wondering what the consensus is on the colour combination.
I've read a few threads recently that the blue interior may not be popular but it does go with the iris blue and i'm happy it.

Just thought i'd open it tot the floor for opinions

I know that there are some that don't like blue interiors but I think it looks great.

My iris blue 993 has a mix of blue and marble and I prefer yours!

I had blue interior in my first 997 (with atlas gray). It is outstanding in the flesh but did not show up so well in photos. I like it..

Lovely mate, really nice! Aventura is the only green I like excepting viper/Porsche of course!

Unfortunatly I haven't an interior pic of mine. But its MBM with (It now seems for a blue car) quite rare black and grey dash with grey steering wheel, classic grey, sports seats and blue carpets.

I'm also not a lover of the blue interior ...... by that I mean dash and steering wheel.

Looks fine to me but I love the blue and marble combo. The contrast livens up the interior although like crema its not as practical so probably requires a little more cleaning.

If you don't like the blue leather what are you thinking of doing ? Are you talking about swapping it out or have a leather specialist dye it a new colour ? Either way thats quite a big and expensive job I would of thought.

I won't change the colour as i've grown ised to it and want to keep it original. I would like to get the leather restored but thats another story

I do like the red interior on a silver or black car and also aventura. I was close to buying either a black or aventura both had marble grey but the service histories were not as comprehensive as mine

That is like a nasty red blood spilled accident. Must be so bright on a sunny day. Not for me in that type of red.
Has anyone seen this one?
Silver with Chesnut interior.

Iris and marble or polar silver and marble are my favourites, but I like the blue interior and the aventura green looks great too!!

Very highly spec'd with the carbon and leather covered dials and switches. However There is a lt of brown however if the steering wheel was swapped over for a black one it might not look as bad.

In terms of the OP`s post, the blue looks OK and you have hardbacks which is a key spec requirement as far as looks go. Personally I prefer a black interior but you can`t please everyone. Some will say black is dull, others say grey is dull. So long as you are happy thats all the really matters.

I like blue, but many coloured Porsche interiors don't photograph accurately - reds being the worst.
