Funny Email from OPC

Im sure most of you know im out in Afghanistan and whilst i have been out here my GF took the car to OPC for major service, new tyres etc etc which did end up me paying probably more than i should of done. It then had a flat battery so couldnt be delivered back etc.
Anyway i mentioned on the online customer feedback that even though twice i asked about possible part-ex i had recieved nothing back.
Well to cut a long story short i got a email reply back today...
Hi Pet Op
I met you briefly when we delivered your car to your Barracks with Derek who sold you the car. We can have a chat when you get back and discuss your needs for your next car . Our stock changes all of the time and I'm sure we will find a suitable car for you, whether it is a GTS or Turbo, or a Cayman and we can set up some test drives for you.
In the meantime we will need to return your car to a suitable addressfor you. We have stored it for over 10 months, and no longer have the capability to do so. Please let me know where and when, can it go backto your Barracks ?
Excellent news but there is a slight problem...
1. I dont know Derek.
2. I picked my car up from RSJ and didnt buy it from Porsche.
3. My car is certainly not been in the OPC for 10 months.
4. Just to check i rang the GF up and she is at present driving in the car to Bath to go shopping....phew!!
This has brightened my day out here and was wondering what the storage charges this poor lad has incurred!!!

True, but i would of thought someone would of wondered (relative) where it was if the worse had happened. If its Dec last year it puts the UK rotations out of sync as they tend to be Apr/Oct. I would of thought though the OPC wouldnt of waited 10 months especially when they would of had a "ill be back to pick it up xxxxx".

Yes but most seniors rotate to ISAF out of sync with HK deployments and are doing 9-18 months deployments now. Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
