Anyone else looking forward to this I've had mine on pre order since August & I really enjoyed heavy rain, it looks pretty good from the trailers I've watched but I know this type of game isn't for everyone.

It will be interesting to see how this plays when it gets delivered tomorrow, the reviews have panned it IGN only gave it 6/10 & CVG also gave it 6/10.

It looks like a duffer then, I think it's a shame because Heavy Rain was a great journey to play for me.

If you're going to have a game that has essentially no gameplay, and is a 10 hour £40 film, the writing better be spectacular. I won't be buying it as I don't trust David Cage to be able to write anything I would be interested in watching.

You are spot on he always seems to get criticised for his writing & his overall game development, I think I jumped the gun a little to soon with this game.

I suppose I still need to stay open minded until I get my hands on it.

Only played half an hour up to yet but the graphics are something special for the PS3 & it feels very similar to Heavy Rain in these early stages so happy enough, it will be interesting to see how the story plays out.

Nearly completed it now & I will say the graphics are a high point & some chapters are genuinely excellent but then others feel pretty pointless, overall I prefered Heavy Rain as an experience as it gripped me all the way through but this doesn't achieve that as well.

If I was to score it I would go 7/10.

I bought this last week and the first night I was up around five hours solid playing it. I only bought my PS3 a few weeks ago for GTA5 so I've not played this type of game before, I'm a PC gamer at heart.

I have to say I really like it so far, I think I'm probably around two-thirds of the way through by now, but I didn't really enjoy the chapters that were essentially free roaming levels, the Desert and Africa chapters spring to mind. The 'world' graphics were rather basic and they just didn't feel 'right' having come from the small-scale sections that the majority of the game presents.

The game seems to be at its best in small spaces where you can really appreciate the stunning facial animations and feel part of the story.

Overall though so far, its a very good game. I have The Last of Us yet to play, and I'll have a look at Heavy Rain sometime too.

I strongly suggest the uncharted trilogy and metal gear solid 4, too.

Both are console gaming at its best.

I felt similar to you & I was really loving the game up to the Desert chapter but that just seemed to ruin any intimacy that the game had conveyed up to that point & Africa aswell didn't float my boat. I really enjoyed Hunted & the homeless chapters though.

You will love The Last of Us I think as that was one of my favourite gaming experiences on modern consoles & Heavy Rain is really worth a try & I enjoyed that better than Beyond.

They are a great recommendation & I have all four games I've finished all the uncharted series but I have never got around to finishing MGS 4 though.

I got it on pre order but have had no time to play it (Or anything) since it arrived. It looks stunning from what I've seen of it in videos. I think it will be a bit strange playing it after playing lots of GTA V most recently!

Finally finished it today & things do seem to make sense towards the end regarding the story, overall I enjoyed it & the graphics are superb & in parts it does capture your emotions but I think I still prefer Heavy Rain out of the two but look forward to what David Cage comes up with on the next generation of console.
