I've read this a few times... I find it pretty normal, maybe I have had a lot of cars with the fly-off types!

I will confess when I haven't driven it for a long while to sometimes sitting in it, turning the key, pressing the button and scratching my head as to why it won't start smile

Here's one for the pedants: the AM handbrake isn't actually a fly-off handbrake. (Not like your Morgan, anyway). It's just a normal handbrake that happens to lie flat (and is on the wrong/unusual side!)

God the Morgan one is annoying when stuck in traffic on a hill rolleyes
