Dear all,

my Name is Heinrich and i live in Germany. I am 34 years old and just bought a 2013 V12 Vantage Roadster (No.87 of 101/Chassis 1295) and of course i tried to find out the Fuse 15/22 effect smile.
But neither refusing Fuse 15 nor refusing Fuse 22 makes any difference to the cars noise. The valves are still working. Fuse 15 is a 5A Fuse and regarding to the Manual it should be empty. Manual says Fuse 22, a 20A Fuse is the right one. But there is no difference.
Is there maybe a third Option? Or am i too stupid?

thank you all in advance!

best regards

Heinrich

Are you in the right fuse box? The one in the boot?

Did you notice the difference before pulling the fuse when pressing 'Sport'.

Does pressing Sport make a difference now that you have pulled the fuse?

No, it makes no difference. The valves open at still at 3500rpm.

Must be a different fuse in the Roadster then?

By the way, what you really should get are some 2nd Stage Capristo Decat Pipes. wink

If you're unsure, simply remove and plug the vacuum lines to the valves and leave the fuses intact.

Interesting that they stress these are not TUV approved and therefore not legal in Germany and perhaps other countries. Wonder what the fine would be.

Are BR parts TUV approved?

Great purchase but I would say that! Try phoning your dealer they will help. There is a fuse somewhere as my dealer has put a switch in line to control the valve which works really well.

Please post some pictures. Enjoy your car - you have some fabulous roads to get the best from its fantastic performance.

Just had a look at Alwins register and there doesn't appear to be a car in that colour(Madagascar?) in Germany - or the world. Would be great if there was one.

Must get the switch fitted to mine as even with the sport button pressed the valves only open over 3,500 revs. smile

Congratulations on buying it - you will never regret it

Hi,

no it was not the yellow one. I am not so sure about exotic colors on this car. This one is quantum silver with bitter chocolate interior - looks awsome in my eyes. The hood is also bitter chocolate. I try to make some good pics tomorrow.

Great choice Heinrich. But I would say that because mine is Tungsten with a Bitter Chocolate roof and interior. In my opinion is really does look fantastic and Quantum will look just as good. Looking forward to the pictures smile

Looked at a coupe in those colours just last week. Bitter chocolate is just lovely.

There is only one Sunburst Yellow on Alwin's register and that is in the UK - my friends car and looks even better in real life than it does in pictures. The metallic fleck is just fantastic when in the sun. The sun really does burst!

Is Alwin's register available for us all to see?
If so, please help with the link.

Thanks, Jon.
