TVR's are designed for tall people.

You'll fit just fine just go out and chose the car you want.

If you buy a wedge it is almost compulsory to drive it with the roof off so you have infinite head room.

Peter Wheeler was 6'6", so you should be OK

My mechanic, Mat Smith, is same height and drives a Chim comfortably so you should have no problem smile

the later S's are good, but go for an S3 or later as they had longer door openings which does help.

I am not sure about tuscans with the fixed back bit - It hits your head if you are over 6'

Thanks for the input . I am looking for a new classic . I have to say the Lotus Excel was my first choice , but a bit cramped maybe, I am coming round to the idea of a TVR .

Not sure if the same is true for the older cars but on the T cars the pedal box is movable.

I'm getting on for 6'6" but with the pedal box moved as far forward as possible, I'm pretty comfortable in mine.

I'm 6ft3 and fit fine in my chim. Can touch my head on the roof if I get a bit entusiastic over the hills or big bumps, but it hits the lower padded bit anyway.

The technical term for the amount of legroom is 'stloads' according to everyone else whos had a go biggrin

I'm also 6'3" and of my 3 TVR's ( wedge, cerb and griff) only the cerb was a bit tight on headroom

I modified the seat on mine so the cushion sat a little lower and it was then very comfortable
