Just thought I'd say hi after joining - been reading Pistonheads stuff for years but never got round to joining till now.

This is my toy -

Litchfield Type 20 Impreza (JDM STI Impreza with filter, exhaust, remap and suspension basically)

This is my 'shed'

Mondeo 1.8 my dad bought new and I bought off him when he replaced it - great for throwing my mountain bikes in and not worrying about!

Looking forward to joining the banter round here! I've already wasted ages reading through a pile of threads!

Welcome! wavey

Nice toy, and nice choice of shed smile (I bought my Mondog earlier this year after a brief what car thread and haven't regretted it)

Thanks. Prior to the Impreza I had an ST220 with a few mods - Milltek exhaust, Eibach springs, Focus ST brake upgrade and a few cosmetic bits. Was a great car - 60k miles of trouble free (pretty much) driving and great for lugging kit about.

Silver one is mine.

I am also lucky enough to be on the insurance of (and regularly drive) this:

Hello and welcome smile

I do like those Impreza's, very nice indeed, and the mondeo is always a good all rounder.

Is that a 911 Carrera 4 or am I wide of the mark? Can't quite see the badge. Very nice though and I bet it's great to drive.

Enjoy!

The 911 is a GenII 997 Carerra 4S PDK. It's an awesome thing to drive. So is the Scooby. Sometime hard deciding which car to take on a drive - both totally different and totally great in their own rights.

By the way, excuse the total ignorance here, but how do you post pics from the likes of Photobucket?

Start off with this
[img]
[/img]

But keep them both on the same line. I cant put them together or they disappear when I post frown

On your photobucket picture right click on it, pick the size you want... then, right click and select 'copy' URL'.

paste the 'copied URL' between the above text code

Try it out and 'preview' instead of post until you get it.

Example,
http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2879/10152120706_4d6...

Now put this at the beginning[img]
and this at the end[/img]

If you cannot see the COPY URL when you right click, Its like this on my work laptop, then right click on the photo and scroll to Properties, you can copy the URL from there.

Oh, hello and welcome!

Thanks. Pretty simple as it turns out! The other forums I'm on are a bit idiot proof and you just click the photo icon and paste the image link.

Now just trying to get the 'smilies' board to load - just gives me a blank page when clicked - probably IE10 - it's messed most things up!

Nah, smilies have to be entered manually as well frown

When writing a new post (or reply), just above the text box you'll see "Smilies".

Click on it, and in the pop up box which appears, copy the text from the one you want to use and paste it into your post.

Yeah, it's that 'box' of smilies that doesn't load. will try Chrome as that one is a browser bug and not me being dense!

Welcome to PH, try not to visit "the lounge" too soon, it can be a bit depressing!

Everywhere else is fine though!
