Large Elise with a roof on, thus very good looking. The sides are just so Elise S2. Anyone else agree ?

I saw this car at the NEC in 2000. What a cool looking car. Its kind of a mini 360 crossed with a McF1/Elise s2.
Should be a LOT of fun to drive..

£200k? WTF?

yeah - cos I'd have one of these comedy built things instead of a 360 and a 996 and a Skyline GTR...

not.

very nice looking but why the fcuk are these manufacturers building cars that no bugger will ever be able to afford? Same goes for Pagani.

Noble OTOH get kudos for making an attainable car in this vein.

Exactly , it looks like an Elise on steroids , great looking car but £200,000- come on get real .

I can think of better ways to burn £200,000- this is a great looker but like old Mr Burago said yesterday,,, re-sale time , spare parts , service , who would take one of these over a F575 or a
Murcelisa (you know what i mean)or even a F360 with enough dosh left over to run it for a couple of years

Got to agree folks, it's the love child of Lotus Elsie and A Toyota Celica. And seemingly the side air vents and the chinky eyes are the dominant genes. Could have been worse - it could have got the Celica's butt-ugly butt.

Nice car, probably rare as rocking horse shit, but WOAH !!!! 200 grand ? You're having a Turkish ! You could have a 360 coupe or spyder with enough loose cash to buy a daily driver.

I'm confused on this one, wasn't the previous Ascari around £89k and thought to be too expensive. Now they say £200k, WTF, I like this car but at that price I could have a 2 top of the range Ultimas built for me, 3 Ethis (souped up Elises), and 4+ Nobles. All of which are stripped down supercar handling superfast basic cars. What are Ascari thinking?

Reliaible bimmer engine good idea. So is the carbon tub. 170k takes the piss though. I'd have a GT2 to kick it's arse and 50k cash.

Also I'm not happy about it looking like a maxed peugeot 206 gti with the borrowed lamps.

Must admit £200k is a little over the top. Seems there's going to be rather a lot of new motors in this price bracket soon (Porsche GT and Merc SLR on their way too).

I'd certainly add an Ascari to my dream garage if I had several million to burn, but it'd certainly be down the list a bit....

PS - I like the headlamps, but agree for 200 grand you should expect bespoke jobbies.

That is one good looking motor, but I can't afford one whether it's 50K or 200K, so who gives a fcuk what the price is?!
