991 Carrera S PDK - Damn you!!

Porsche Centre Glasgow kindly gave me one of these while my GT3 is in for a few bits on bobs under warranty. GOD IT'S GOOD!!

Gents, enjoy - you have a fine automobile, I've done 200miles in it today and I honestly didn't want to park it up tonight after being out for dinner (all four of us).

Oh, and the noise. I can honestly say I think it's louder than my GT3. From a Carrera!?

I can only begin to imagine what the 991GT3 is going to be like after sampling this today.

Hope my parts don't come in for a few days

As much as I hate the 991 electric steering, for a road car it's a far better place to be than a GT3 :-p

But I don't want either thanks, the new 991 feels to me like you need to be 50 years old and then you may as well buy on looks and buy a Aston ;-).

For a daily, I couldn't agree more. Its a gorgeous interior. Thats the thing, my GT3 isn't a daily (anymore) so the GT3 fits the bill for what I look for in a sports car. Just couldn't resist sharing my thoughts with the PH massive on how good the Carrera S is and how incredible it sounds. The steering is definitely more numb, that there is no doubt, but if you aren't coming from another 911 then I doubt it will be noticed.
