AM V8 Vantage front splitter

Caught the front splitter/plastic strip on the car tonight as I drove to my brother's flat. Anyone repaired/replaced them. Wouldn't mind a subtle upgrade i.e. one that looks more functional (and is more likely to get caught ) but I'm trying not to spend a lot of money as I've recently bought a house.

Anyone know how much the they cost from AM directly?

Car is an 07 model 4.3l engine.

i've got a spare one I was about to ebay. Don't think they are that expensive tbh. Carbon ones are the normal upgrade but are expensive... My OEM one was £1k+ IIRC

The black plastic strip at the bottom is held on by about 6 self tapping screws. There's no strength to it so once off, as it is "hollow" from behind, you can glue (eg araldite) something the right shape to reinforce then reattach. I cut a little length of upvc quadrant beading I had in the garage - fitted perfectly
