Thanks to all those who posted suggestions for cheap insurance on a 3200, 2002 car.
I'm 41, clean licence, car garaged, living in the middle of nowhere, 6years no claims, looking for fully comp...tried Norwich Union first £1850...hardly impressive, then Liverpool & Victoria, Tesco and First Direct all came in at around £750...much better. Then tried Churchill and got £680. Mentioned to my wife who said "yes, our other car's insured with them" so went back online clicked the "yes I'm already insured with you" button and they gave me £608!!
It's a pain but these on-line quotes can save you some money. Just watch out for the excesses, some can be horrendous.
Oh and I pick up the car next week....first ever Maserati, decision influenced by much of what I've read in this forum.

2002 manual in silver, black interior, 18" wheels with those lovely red calipers and all the usual goodies...looks stunning and I can't wait!

Try A Plan in Beaconsfield. I insured my 4200 for £40 more than the M3 but with a lower excess.
