Hi,

I've just bought a set of Sports pack wheels and tyres that are going on my 2006 V8V.

I have no idea of the age of these wheels, so I'm not sure the tyre pressure sensors are compatible with my car.

Is there a way of checking or testing (without changing all four wheels)?

As far as I'm aware, the wheel sender units need to be programmed to the car, an AM dealer job. The newer 2012 up cars are a newer self learning system.

If they are V1 sports pack you should be OK (assuming the batteries are good!)

Yes, they're V1s.

I wont be bolting them on until the spring. I guess I'll find out for sure then.

Thanks

I am planning doing the reverse. I have a set of Sport Pack Wheels on my 2007 DB9 which I am replacing with a set of original wheels.

The SP wheels have a colour coded valve (not sure why) but the valves on the original set (I think from a 2006 model DB9) are not colour coded... .

How do I know if they have the TPMS and do they need (re) programming ?

P.S. My SP wheels are on sale including a set of good Bridgestones if anybody interested. Send me a PM.

Cheers,
Frank
