Good hotel near the 'Evo' triangle?

I am going to drive up to North Wales from Northampton and take in the Evo triangle and search out some other good roads over a couple of days.
Does anybody have any suggestions for a good hotel for one night somewhere in this area.

Have a search on tripadvisor. I am doing the same and came across a few decent ones . Dont discount the B&B's also.According to Tripadvisor some really lovely ones. The Groes Inn which gets good reviews from all the Evo lot seems over priced compared to what else is about.
