Juddering and loss of power, thought the worst!

Just found out from Fernies that my car it ready from collection!!
Thought something really bad had happened to the engine, HT leads coils etc. Car lost all power when coming away from a roundabout and when I put my foot down it sort of kangarood with a lot of engine roar. Turned out to be one of the Cats had internally combusted and its covered on warranty! Thinking of getting them taken off though, as if they can make that much difference!!! and its one (2) less things to go wrong.
Does anybody know if they make the car a lot noisier or just a bit?

no animals were harmed during the making of this movie. All speeds are well within the NSL and if it looks quicker its a camera trick. The volume of the exhaust is well within legal limits and any volume over this limit was acheived with mirrors.
